is the best way to

How
long will my order take to arrive?
Order processing generally takes 1-2 business days.
Our standard shipping is USPS Priority Mail which can take 1-5 business
days to arrive once shipped. Express Mail is also an available option
and takes 1-2 days in the continental US. International shipping is
available with rates varying depending on the destination country and
weight. Generally, we ship via International Priority Mail or
International Express. International Shipping options appear only when
the Ship To address is outside of the US. Certain products, like books
and videos, may have special shipping options, so please choose the
appropriate method for your product.
Custom printing orders take 1-3 weeks in production.
If
a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your
order or email you with the tracking information. Please note that some
orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
Backorders
If
an item is on backorder we will ship all in stock items first. When the
backordered item becomes available we will ship the remaining items.
There will be no additional shipping/handling charge for the second
shipment.
What is your return policy?
Please contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise
Authorization (RMA) before making a return. Your item must be in its
original unused condition to be returned. The item must be returned
within 30 days of purchase.

3. Include in your package a
note stating the reason for your return, the exchange information
(size, color, etc), and a copy of the original receipt.
Return
Exceptions
Some items cannot be
returned if they
have been opened. These may include DVDs, health products, or other
items, so please check with us before returning anything. Custom
printed items CANNOT be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
Merchandise
that has been worn, used, washed, or altered will not be accepted for
return or exchange.
Restocking Fee
Returned
items may be subject to a 10% restocking fee. We do not refund the
original shipping and handling paid on the order. Return shipping is
the responsibility of the customer.
Exchanges
If
the item is in like new condition, it may be exchanged for a different
size or color. No restocking fee will be required in this case, but
return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
What are the payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard,
Discover, American Express, PayPal, and NHB Gear gift
certificates in the online store. Your credit card will be authorized when you place your order and captured when the order ships. If paying by PayPal echeck, your order will ship once the echeck clears. If we are not able to fulfill your order for
any reason your credit card will be refunded in full.
At
the retail Fight Shop, we can accept personal checks,
money orders, and cashier's checks.
I received some of my order. Where is the rest?
Items may ship from different warehouses and could
arrive in separate packages and at different
times. Email us if you have questions.
Custom
Patch Orders
NHB Gear offers custom sublimated patches on either
a durable canvas
material or satin fabric. Dye sublimation is a process where your logo
is tattooed down into the fibers of the fabric creating a permanent
image on the patch. This leaves nothing on top to fade, crack or peel
off. It is FAR superior to traditional screenprinting. Colors stay
bright and vibrant even after tons of use and
washings. Our printing process produces digital quality, full color
reproductions of your artwork. There is no setup charge, no screen
fees, and no extra charge for the number of colors. It is the
same price for 1 color or 100 colors. Patches have an UNFINISHED edge
designed to be folded under and sewn onto the gi or other garment. They
are cut at right angles, the shape determined by the dimensions of your
artwork.
Turnaround time is generally 10-14 days,
but could take up to 3 weeks based on our production queue. Standard
shipping takes 2-3 business days to the continental US.
NHB Gear produces academy patches for gis and shorts for many
of the major BJJ

. After you select your size, fabric and dimension options and place
your order on the website, just send your high resolution or
vector art to printing@nhbgear.com.
There is also a form to upload your graphics on the Custom Patch
product page.
Vector graphics are best (AI, PDF, SVG, EPS), but high resolution
images will work as well (PSD, JPG, TIF, PNG). Always specify the
dimensions of the PRINTED AREA.
Important tips for artwork
submission
- Please do not upload
graphics before ordering.
- Your patches will only look as
good as the artwork you send. Web graphics are not ideal and are
usually of poor quality for printing.
- Send the original
artwork the logo was created in be it PhotoShop or Illustrator if at
all possible. Graphics lose quality every time they are saved or
resized.
- Whenever possible, send true vector graphics in AI
(Illustrator vCS2 or lower), PDF, or CDR (CorelDraw v12 or lower).

Convert all fonts to curves or outlines. We have an extensive font
collection, but it is always best to convert your fonts.

Send the highest resolution graphics you can. 300 or greater dpi is
recommended.
- RGB
color works best for our printing
process. RGB tends to produce more vibrant colors on the patches. We do
our best to match colors, but cannot guarantee exact matches.

Always specify the dimensions
of the PRINTED AREA when ordering or
uploading.
- We cannot reproduce trademarked logos without
permission. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.
Gi/Kimono Sizing Chart
Note
that all gis shrink to varying degrees. As a general rule, expect 1 to
1.5 inches of total shrinkage after the first few washes. HCK pants are
"shrink to fit" and typically shrink 2-3 inches. You can minimize
shrinkage by washing in cold and hang drying. This is the recommended
method to care for your gi. To maximize shrinkage, wash in warm. You
may also try using a dryer initially. This is not recommended for long
term care, however. When receiving your gi and trying it on for the
first time, always keep in mind the potential shrinkage as NHB Gear
cannot accept returns for refund or exchange after use or washing.

How
do I care for my gi?
Always wash the jacket and pants in COLD water.
Cold water will remove blood stains and hot water will set them. Do not
use bleach or fabric softener. Always hang to dry. Hot tumble drying is
not
recommended because the tumbling in the dryer will fray the fabric over
time. The cold water wash and hang drying will improve the longevity of
your gi.
How do I care for my rash guard or shorts?
Turn the rash guard inside out. Close the velcro on
the shorts. Wash with like colors in COLD on gentle cycle and hang to
dry.
How do I care for my t-shirt or
wicking tee?
Wash with like colors. Dry on medium heat. Never
use bleach or fabric softeners with wicking tees as they can damage the
moisture wicking properties. If you have used fabric softener on a
wicking tee, simply wash again using just regular detergent and water.
This will restore the shirts properties.
