I'm currently 13 years old and have been doing BJJ since December. Should I sign up for this tournament? It would be my first one.

    I would say yes.
    1.  Half price for kids
    2.  There should be kids for you to grapple with
    3.  The tournament is well run

Might as well.... What else will you be doing on a Saturday?

Definitely! You'll have a great time.  If the last tournament is any indicator, there will be kids competing there that are half your age!  (I'm pretty sure that's accurate)

Younger, actually.  There was a boy that was 5 last time, I think.  I remember checking him in, and he wouldn't talk to me.

And no offense to Reeves Whitt, we understand you’re not a “little kid.” Our conversation has just degraded… that’s what happens.

Not at 8 AM, evidently.  He was a tiny little guy, he might have been 6.  He trains with Guga in VB, actually.  Samson is his name.  His sister beat him in the tournament, which Tigers said always happens.

True...13 isn't a little kid any more.  We tend to go off on tangents around here.  You'll see.  Sometimes, we just change the topic all together, with no rhyme or reason to it.

    Anyone wanna talk about dolphins?

The 1972 Miami Dolphins were undefeated.
