Gono is headed to the UFC (Sherdog), to fight at 170, with his first fight against Tamden McCrory. I think this is really interesting news, and Gono could possibly really shake up this division. He has sharp hands, and for his whole career, he has competed against much larger opponents, many of them at the top of the game. Since 2002, he's lost only three fights: Hendo, Shogun, and Kang. I'm not sure if he'll be able to deal with the wrestling ability of guys like Hughes, St. Pierre, Fitch, and Koscheck, but it'll be interesting to see how he fits into the division.

    What do you think?

And...I was just looking at his record, Hughes beat him in 1999.
