Like I said before, that seminar was great!!! I'm still reviewing the stuff we went over. Phil was really really smooth even tho he was a little injured. While rolling he got me with a move a friend was showing me before practice! LOL its all good. Thumbs Up

Thanks again guys. There are never too many threads about me. Just kidding - I'm actually kinda embarrassed a little about all the attention. Embarrassed I appreciate all of the kind words tho. Cool

    Booby?

It was an awesome seminar; Phil taught some amazing stuff and motivated everyone for the tournament we had out in Pittsburgh yesterday.

Timmy: I will be back at Balance Saturday, November 3rd to do a 2 hour gi seminar on the Triangle DVD that I will be shooting in December. See you then!

Very nice, I was going to create a new topic so I'm glad I found this one.

Props to Jimmy!  Lots of hard work.

I had the pleasure of rolling with him after the Tourny in Pittsburgh.  Although it was in the back of my mind that he posted on Sherdog that I was easy to armbar and pulled guard weakly nearly a year ago...

No need for revenge, he is my long lost friend.  He kept on consistent pressure for the sweep and often looked to come to his knees/feet after or during a sweep looking for the top position.  Even through in a few some leg lock action which I love.  His technical ability helped negate the weight difference.

Nice job Jimmy, all the hard work is paying off!  Now come compete with me this weekend!
