Im not vegetarian but damn if id would rub a picture of a baby cow being killed in an animal rights persons face. The dude makes vegan cookies and its his thread. Not cool.

Eh, im so far from being a hippy that i guarantee that by music tastes alone your closer to being a hippy than i am, most people are.
Theres no doubt that the cattle industry is the backbone of America, but there are many people who wish that wasnt so and out of respect of THEIR right of free speech i refuse to throw facts (or even pictures) in their face to shut them up which is what you were clearly trying to do.
Yes theres such a thing as free speech but theres also such a thing as giving a kid who's just trying to raise money to go to the Pan Ams the right to do so without derailing his thread.
