I don't get those things.  How are pushups with these things different from regular pushups?

You grip the handles like regular push up bars and the handles rotate so that you can 'focus' the workout.

Um.  Can't I just do pushups with pushup bars at different angles?  Is it that you can change the ankle mid-set?

I don't know if they ruin other pushup benifit.  You will have stronger wrists over regular pushups.

25 perfects feel like 35 regular I think.

25perfect feels like 35 regular because your wrists get tired? Is that the point of doing a pushup? Huh

i did a series of 3 groups of 3sets earlier in the day as per the schedule.

I FEEL LIKE A FUCKING ROCK RIGHT NOW,

I NECKCRANKER310 DO HEREBY OFFICIALLY ENDORSE THE "PERFECT PUSHUP"

(as seen on t.v )  Thumbs Up

seriously, for months now i would do 150 pushups in sets of 25 throughout my shift @ work
resulting only a tighter chest. but w/these mofos twisting yor wrist
in the exact same motion as a slow punch, and my arms, chest, lats bis and tris
are all feeling nice and swollen tight and slightly sore ( the good kind of sore)

some dude from work brought them in and leaves em' out for us to use any time
thats the only reason i have access to them, now im gonna buy a pair for the pad.
i dont work for this co. so i dont give a fukk if u steal them or buy them, if u have the means try these things and follw the schedule that comes w/it. u will see what im talking about.

disclaimer: this is only the second week of use, so if i eventually find them to be bunk
i will retract my endorsement publicly as well

i'll be back w/a 6 week up date

I have used these things for a couple of reps before. The mechanics of it makes sense; I compare it to using dumbbells vs a barbell. The rotation works with the natural movement of your body as opposed to locking your hands in one place like push ups or barbells. You are getting a better work out because you are utilizing many more muscles than you would when you are doing straight push ups. If you have never heard the term before it’s called stabilizing muscles. When your hands are fixed you are working specific large muscles but when you move in a more natural way with dumbbells or the perfect push up you hit everything in between. If you’re training for the mat and not just for the beach these types of exercises make way more sense and will help you to avoid injury down the road by working all of these additional muscles. Plus I saw them on TV so they must work. Maybe I will pick some up and put them in the closet right next to my electroshock ab belt.

I am serious and I’m not. It makes sense and I’m sure they work but why bother. For me and I think for most people there is a huge mental aspect to training. If you sit around and do perfect push ups in your living room your not really going to get that far it’s too much of a one dimensional work out. Plus you always have distractions at home and will always find something else to do. But those things always make sense when you make the purchase. I have $2k worth of free weights in my basement but I still go to the gym and lift 4 days a week. It doesn’t make sense on paper but if I didn’t go to the gym I would never lift. I have learned my lesson save $20 and go see a movie. I heard Never Back Down is going to be out on re-release.

    lol ,

yeah, the only reason i'm even using them outside of my usual training

is that i would be fukking off 9 hours at work, at a desk being lame.
so i set up my own lil gym in the back of our warehouse,

i started doing sets of pushups, they were a great addition.

but these motherfukkers are even greater i tell you suckas right now

i am looking and feeling even bigger and tighter than when i originally posted
all from doing these , and using my own bodyweight nonetheless!!

im going on week three now, ill keep u suckas posted

p.s welcome to the forum morgan

ps2, i would never violate my living room by doing pushups in it, living rooms are for
movies , video games, green rips, and doin my lady .

Interesting. I see what you're saying, but I'm thinking of it a little differently.  When I'm doing BJJ, I'm mostly pulling.  I do, however, have to push on a leg or a hip, too.  When I'm doing that, my wrist isn't moving.  I wonder if I'd get more benefit from a perfect pushup that works a bunch of little muscles, or from regular pushups with different hand positions that might come closer to mimicking the types of movements I use when I'm rolling.

    yeah totally

when u first try them, try to max out. take that # and

then find out where you stand on the chart on the paper that was included.

for me i did only like 30 on my first try ever. so now the workout is

w/hands @ shoulder width:  24reps,1 minute rest, then 12reps, rest
    then 8 reps

    take a break

then hands @ wider stance, same pattern

    take a break

then hands close together, same pattern

    skip a day

etc etc etc, the chart was hard to figure out at first.

I've been thinking about putting a pull-up bar in the garage... maybe rings would be better.

you hang the rings from your pull up bar

    That's a cool idea.

i definately feel it already, it cuts your pushup count to like 60% of regular.

    yeah totally

when u first try them, try to max out. take that # and

then find out where you stand on the chart on the paper that was included.

for me i did only like 30 on my first try ever. so now the workout is

w/hands @ shoulder width:  24reps,1 minute rest, then 12reps, rest
    then 8 reps

    take a break

then hands @ wider stance, same pattern

    take a break

then hands close together, same pattern

    skip a day

etc etc etc, the chart was hard to figure out at first.

My max was 10, i did the 1 wide and 1 close. I gave it a few days and did it again and stopped...yet again.  Should i go back to max or go to step 2? I want to do this every day but, i keep forgetting there in my work drawal.

skip a day, follow the instructions, u only have to max once and thats just to see where on the workout chart u fall into, or are u funnin' w/me

so what your telling us is that the results have allowed you to abuse your spouse in more creative ways? I would like to see an updated commercial with that as a selling point. 12 days since the last use huh? could my prediction be coming true already? move over ab roller and make room in the closet for your new friend.

After the glowing endorsements, and recently recieving $700.00 in walmart gift cards, I dropped 19.99 on a set of these perfect pushup thingamabobs.

5'9 3/4" 273lbs this a.m.  I did a couple of sets last night, just checking them out.  This morning I did standard width 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2.  f**k me in the goat booty.  It brought me to my knees.  The pump along the back of my arms was nice.  I'll go wider later today and see how it hits the chest.

I'm not sure if it's better than regular pushups, but it's something different, something strange.  It was interesting enough that my 4 year old started trying to do some on his knees and after him my 2 year old started playing with them...  You don't get that at a gym.  It was nice.  Now if only they made a perfect pushup wii-mote.

    Thanks for all the reviews.

SO...now who's going to try the perfect pullup?
As soon as it's 19.99 at walmart, I'll be all on it.

Btw, Dick's sporting goods AND Target are now selling Kettlebells.  Target is carrying bitch bells up to 20lbs by GoFit.  Dick's is carrying them up to 45lbs, also by GoFit.  As soon as the kbs were in the house, my 2yo and 4yo start fighting over who gets to "play" with the 15 pounder.  They sumo lifted through the entire dvd.  The 2yo is only 30lbs himself, my little blond haired blue eyed soul child Smiley  My baby girl crawled around the floor trying to avoid getting pulled by me and my wife's various swings and snatches... Fun day for all.

    f**k am I tired.

Those GoFit KB's are shaped weird IMO. The hand is way too wide...makes a lot of the KB routines kinda awkward.

Not to mention the biggest they carry is 35lbs.

amen sister. Sorry I can't say what's what. I have several different types of 24kg bells; Ader mostly, that have different handles. I am not really sure what they are worth or what I am willing to take for them. I have two hard classes right now. I am taking my midterm in like 10 minutes, but here I am posting on the forum...

    PERFECT PUSHUPS Full review

Synopsis: the perfect pushups were created by an ex-navy seal (woop de fukking do), the design and Quality of the product were top notch considering that I weigh a thousand Pounds yet still felt comfortable imposing my massive weight upon these tiny little things.
The bearing assembly doesn’t even feel slightly strained when I lay the whole of my island Thickness down, the gripping on the bottom adheres great to multiple surfaces (I have personally tried concrete, linoleum, hardwood floors, carpet and turf) which is awesome because if they didn’t than you would fall on your face.

Effectiveness : very , even after short use will one feel and see a difference. With continued use even more so. These are really good for tightening and making your pecs, biceps, triceps and lats all bigger and buffer, even when I discontinued for a coupe of weeks (literally) I still felt the tightness and my muscles were still booming.
The program (which I recommend following) is very well designed, it doesn’t overload You into being mentally bummed out that you have to do another set, and is easy to follow, especially since you skip days

Re-usability: high, unlike most obtrusive home gym equipment these little things are easy to use anywhere, the backyard, the dining room  I personally use them at work. But ive seen fools bring them to the track, and one douche had them in his gymbag and used them at the local 24hr fatness WTF..
Anyway  I’m no doctor, but I have NOT  felt any un-natural soreness, it seems the movements while using these feel fluid/natural.

The biggest obstacle when using these was my laziness

Pros: inexpensive, effective, quick and lasting results, small and easy to store anywhere Built well, and your pecs will be hurtin biitches

Cons: you cannot hang clothes on them when not in use

    PERFECT PUSHUPS  Thumbs Up
IF YOU CANT DO'EM THAN YOU'RE THE PERFECT PUTO

Those GoFit KB's are shaped weird IMO. The hand is way too wide...makes a lot of the KB routines kinda awkward.
Not to mention the biggest they carry is 35lbs.
Dick's sporting good has them in 45lbs.  I think Target carries them up to 25lbs or so.

Sandawang, thanks for the advice on my wrist problem.  I gave it a few days to heal up and tried snatches again tonight.  I made a point of keeping my elbow tucked into my body and that lil tidbit made all of the difference in the world.  I also tried doing american/overhead swings.  Those are ass kickers... prolly should NOT do those in front of a big screen tv... my wife ended up loosing her grip and tossing it back onto a sofa.  Thankfully we didn't have any kids there.  All in all, good stuff.

We finished our kb work with some pp's.  I do like them.  For me, it's prolly just because they are different and my kids got a kick out of them.  My 2yo climbed on daddy's back for his last set of pushups... fucker.

Once I get an extra cash I'm getting myself a pair and a few for my school based off of this thread.  I used to do 500 -700 push ups  a day my sophomore year in college during the off season in wrestling and I'm trying hard as hell to get back at that place right now. I feel I need something other than my crumby floor to break the monotony, so I appreciate the reviews and will give feedback.

We have a set at our KB gym and I've used them a few times.....I didn't really notice anything special though.  Maybe it's just me though!

Got mine today. I'll do what I can with my funky hammy and get back to you. Pushups don't really bother it, so I should be taking advantage of them over the next few weeks to keep up my conditioning.

You used kettlebells 3 times and weren't immediately ripped and strong as Fedor?  Hmm.. weird... I guess results vary.

LOL...no I'm saying that I didn't "feel" like they were all that special.  I do a TON of varied bodyweight push-ups when I train so I kinda know  what areas are being worked and not...etc.  I didn't notice anything "special" with the power push up that you couldn't get by doing a lot of variety when it comes to the push up.

$100 at Sports Authority is way too much.

Are the ones at Wal Mart the same?
