This is a video of myself training with my new blue belt in our social project for blind kids.

there was a blind dude at a place I used to train and that guy could straight roll.  strong as an ox and when you rolled with him he never felt like he couldn't see.  Good good grappler.

There's alot goin on in that video. Dude has good technique. His style is alot like his teachers.

Even the kid in the background looks dope. I think he's a green belt?

Nice! BJJ is probably the single best combative sport for blind athletes. With all the grips and reliance on kinesthetic awareness vs any other sense, it's a really good match.

That is great to see such a talented student and an excellent instructor that brought him to where he is, his game looks sharp!

This stuff is awesome to see.  Over the summer we had a blind purple or brown belt drop in who used to train with Rick and Phil back in the Maxercise days.  I believe he lives in San Francisco and still works out with Steve Maxwell from time to time.  He's a really awe inspiring fellow.  It's really incredible to see people succeed despite physical limitations or unfavorable dispositions.
