I was just wondering anyone of you peeps has any of their gi's? What you like, what you don't and if anyone has dealt with them in a wholesale capacity as well. If you don't want to discuss openly feel free to pm me.

They sent me a sample gi to start manufacturing for us. Guy called me and told me he was the manufacture of Lucky Gis and he would send me a sample. What we got was total garbage. One sleeve was an inch longer than the other. All the stitching was crooked and sloppy.
When i refused to do business with him he started knocking off our gis and selling them on ebay.
Not the kind of people i would do business with, but we sell gis so im biased.
We have great deals on really good gis. Hit me up if your interested.

I'd say, like all "what do you think of this gi?" posts, you're gonna get a 50/50 response. The ones I have seen aren't very well built at all. But, like someone else said, they're good for kids programs. I would assume thats because kids cant tear them like adults can. But, monitor the rest of the results

Plus kids grow out of them.
And it's nice to be able to sell parents a gi for $35 instead of $135.

Its a great cheap Gi to add to your collection for training. I've had one for 5+ years and it hoids up fine. The sleeves are short and the skirt long, but for an extra non competition gi for the price they go for, it works great for what it is. It would not be my primary choice and I doubt that mine would pass IBJFF gi check but if you train alot and can't afford 5 Vulcans and a Lucky, its a great cheap option. The first time I wore it, I got blue fuzz all over the matts and my partners so be warned! Was it a few times first!!!!

I think they are ok if you want to offer a basic gi cheap for your students, but for my own personal use, I prefer the old Vulkans.

i am happy with using the woldorf gi's.
they are more for guys that are reselling
to the students and for someone who
wants a basic starter gi.
However, anyone who wants
a high quality nice fitting gi, i would
go with on the mat's.
their gi's fit me amazingly well.
