    LONG ISLAND GRAPPLING CHALLENGE
    No-Gi Double Elimination Grappling Tournament
    PLUS
    Kids and Open Class Wrestling Tournament

    December 5th @ Finest Fitness Gym
    208 E. Main Street - Patchogue, NY

    Men's, Women's, Teen's and kids divisions

    Grappling- $50 pre-registration / $65 day of registration
    Wrestling Only- $25 pre-registration/$35 day of registration

    $15 for extra division (Open Weight Division for the a Cash Prize starting at $250. More registers means more money in the absolute)

    Registration and weigh ins - 8am
    Rules meeting 10am - 10:30am
    Bouts start:  10:30 am

    Grappling Weight Classes:

    -Men's Weights-
    -130
    -140
    -150
    -160
    -170
    -180
    -190
    -200
    -220
    -240
    +241

    -Women's weights-
    Women's weights will be done via the madison system. We will match closest weight together.

    -Teen's-
    Will also be following the madison format

    -Wrestling-
    Will also follow the Madison format

    SKILL LEVELS:

    Beginner - Under 1 year of Grappling training, INCLUDING WRESTLING

    Intermediate - 1 - 3 years of Grappling training

    Advanced - above 3 years of Grappling training

    Time limits:

    Men's beginners - 4 minute matches

    Men's intermediate - 5 minute matches

    Men's Advanced - 6 minute matches


    Teen's / Women's Divisions - 4 minutes

    Kids divisions - 3 minutes

    Clinzy, it will really depend on what kind of a womens turn out we get as far as number of competitors and skill levels if we get a good turn out i have no problem adding more devisions on the spot with a longer time limit.

    Double elimination + Cash prize in the absolute division starting at $250.  The more competitors register, the more money we put in the pot.

    One week left guys, we held 2 great Shows and our first tourney will be just as well run!

    Also looking for competitors for a January show in Kickboxing, Grappling, Boxing, Full Contact Karate, and Mixed ROunds (each round a different style)
