"16 year old talented twin brothers Christian and Christopher Broadnax (Nova Uniao Las Vegas) classified for the absolute juvenile final match at the 1st Southwest Brazilian Classic and did not even think about closing out the bracket. Rather, they performed amazingly against one another, with Christian opening a 5-0 lead before catching Christopher in a nasty triangle. It was the last division of the day"

These kids came to train at 50/50 for a month and were ridiculously good.

ridiculously good are two good words for them.  They fight in men's divisions and beat the crap out of them too.  Certainly have the potential to be champions one day.

True. I just meant movers and shakers in the brown/black men's divisions in the future.

Their chokes are so dangerous...they cause explosions!

Nice kids.  I got to work out with them when they were in DC.  Very tough, and both have a great work ethic!

Nova Uniao? Is John Lewis still teaching or is someone else from NU teaching in Vegas now?

Im a little confused as well. I saw a vid where drysdale was coaching them, but in this video they have NU patches on. Regardless these kids are the future.

God i wish i had a twin when i started!

Ok, a little back background on them.  They started their training at Mica's in las vegas about 3 or 4 years ago.  I know this because I was the kids class instructor.  They then moved over to Gracie Barra Vegas and now they with Nova.  They do have a good work ethic and do a BUNCH of other stuff.  Both of them are involved in gymnastics, piano, and other liberal arts programs along with being home schooled.  They are good, but if you really want to see a kid that is just phenominal is Andre Vaughn out of Mica's school.  I think he is also 16 now.  All very good kids and all of them straight A students.  Mica definitely has a great kids program. I havent taught the kids program in over 18 months but a solid foundation and good atmosphere there.

I got to train with them a bunch at Drysdales this summer, and then again at 5050 when I got home. Very hard working kids, they would be in twice a day and train full out, always. Its very hard to score on them. Why are they no longer with Robbie?
