I find this intetesting amd am somewhat excited to see what happens. How do you think he's going to do? What if he wins his division and the absolute? Will there be a mass exodus from bjj to catch wrestling?

I like him as an MMA fighter, and think that he could do well at the worlds but at the same time can't see him on the podium...

From what I understand catch has a different mentality than BJJ.

He was at the GX tournament in Long Beach last week as well. Obviously doing advanced division (he didn't compete in BJJ at that particular competition) and advanced absolute. He won. There were a lot of suplexes. Very pretty suplexes.

No concern for me about ever getting beat by that monster. I am a third of his size and would just run around him in circles until he died of boredom. Or a steroid induced heart attack.

I'll wait for videos from the division before I set loose the dogs of cynicism.  That said, his piss is rumored to be hotter than 3-mile island.

Well, I've fished 3-mile island and truth be told, it's a well established hot spot for both smallmouth and walleye. 

What does this mean?

That's pretty much true for all of the higher level men's divisions.

I don't believe this statement to be true.  That's just pure speculation.  I would bet that there are more high level bjj black belts not taking performance enhancing drugs.  Kind of goes against the mentality of taking care of your body as well.  Also, I don't see the reason for it in bjj in particular.  I can see MMA guys trying it, but don't think the payoff is as big for straight up bjj competitions.   

Either way, it's cheating!  What's the honor in that.  If you can't do it on your own, then what good is winning a medal when you've had to cheat to get it.
