So after watching the last few fights he has been in, I am wondering what one has to do to finish this guy...KO seems to be the only way and ironically enough, I just checked and his only loss was a KO.
But seriously, it's not like the subs he has been caught in were close, they were actually locked...when people say "he kept coming like the terminator" yeah thats cool the guy didnt quit, this guy IS the terminator, you can have him finished and the guy just doesnt quit.
BJ vs Benson, they need to put this match together....Ben vs BJ is so much of a better matchup than frankie edgar, Frank's tough but I just dont think he will have anything for BJ
What are your thoughts?

BJ would sub him. Diego would maul him. Frankie Edgar vs Benson would be a great fight.

Benson has actually competed in Brasilian Jiu Jitsu and submission grappling in the LAST DECADE, so I wouldn't be so quick to proclaim that someone who hasn't would submit him. Just saying.
The Loch Ness monster isn't real.

I'm pretty sure he's been training with Kenny & Keith Florian as well.

Everyone can succumb to a rear naked choke.
I'm fairly confident that Ben would tap out or get put to sleep in BJ Penn chokes him.

Umm, hello... BJ obviously would never get there. He hasn't competed in sport BJJ in the last ten years.
(I'm driving right now, so I can't insert the "eyes rolling" icon. Besides, that icon sucks)

Agreed. Since BJ hasn't competed in sport BJJ in ten years he's obviously let his skills diminish incredibly. In fact he should have to turn in his blackbelt.
Since I have competed in sport BJJ in the last ten years even I, a brand new blue belt with only two competition medals, would have more chance to tap out Ben than BJ would.
Thank you all for giving me clarity.

Probably a high school wrestler would take BJ down too, as long as he's competed in the last ten years.

(Baby) Jay Penn has the best jiu jitsu in the universe, and wrestling, and he is top pound for pound, and he would win all divisions at Mundials (including women's), and he is smarter than Nikola Tesla.
Hopefully everything is covered there.

Postscript. Your reading comprehension needs a brush-up of sorts if you concluded after reading my previous post that I was claiming that Benson Henderson had trained in jiu jitsu for the last decade. I believe that community centres here in Clark County can assist you with that objective.

did your parents beat you with an idiot stick?
BJ Penn brought Benson Henderson and Efrain Escudero into his last camp to prepare for Diego Sanchez and both Benson and Efrain acknowledge BJ is in a league of his own right now.
also, Benson wrestled through college and graduated in the spring of '06. He began competing in MMA and grappling shortly after that and currently holds a purple belt in jiu-jitsu under John Crouch. Kenny Florian and Joe Stevenson are black belts and have both been a lot more active in both MMA and grappling in the last decade than Benson.
the only people in your life that probably don't hate you are the owners of your local Sherwin-Williams, considering the amount of business you give them to maintain the level of paint chips in your diet.
