because women's BJJ has the same strength and depth as the men's and winning a combined brown black division is the same as winning a men's division

Well just in terms of american female Grapplers, Hillary Williams won the worlds and got her black belt in 4 years... BJ Penn style. Not to mention she won the ADCC trials and placed in ADCC by submitting the favorite in her division as a purple belt with just over 3 years, then followed that by Taking DOUBLE golds in the women's Brown/Black belt division at the No-gi mundials in about 3.5 years while a fresh brown belt. All this and more before she won the mundials at black belt this year and got her black belt just before her 4 year mark.
Tracey has already been training 4 years (started in 2006), and just got her Brown Belt, so it's not going to happen. She went from blue to brown so quick because she probably should have got the purple a little sooner, but Lloyd says something clicked for her suddenly.
Hillary and Tracey actually had a match earlier this year in the finals of the Abu Dabhi Pro Trials in FL. Hillary (brown belt then) won, but said that Tracey (blue belt then) has one of the toughest guards she'd ever faced. also that day Tracey submitted another female prodigy in Sofia Amarante (who won the no-gi worlds last year by defeating Leticia Ribeiro).

I think this girl is on her way to getting her BJJ Black Belt in under a Year
not quite. If you checked her website you'd see that she started training in 2006, and started under Lloyd Irvin Jr about 16 months ago. http://traceygoodell.com/

Felicia Oh is somewhere up there. I think 4 years and some change? 2nd in ADCC. Pan-Ams gi and no-gi gold. Placed in the worlds. FILA champion 2x. Not to mention she started well after the age of 30.

Cheers Jsho. Yes if anyone knows who the first female BJJ black belt was and when she was promoted, that would answer a long standing question.
