The East Coast Grappling Championships is now known as US GRAPPLING. NHB GEAR will continue to support this fantastic grappling tournament circuit as we did in 2006. The first event is on February 17th, 2007 in Milwaukee, WI. An Under 205 Pro division will be featured as well as gi, no-gi, women's, and kid's divisions. Visit www.usgrappling.us

In honor of the memory of Joe Priole, who originally promoted US GRAPPLING years ago, a portion of the proceeds from the inaugural event will be donated to the Make A Wish foundation. NHB GEAR will also be donating a portion of its booth sales at the event to Make A Wish.

NHB GEAR is sponsoring the Tournament of Pros on Saturday April 15th at 12:30 PM. Randy Bloom is promoting this Pro grappling event. This will be a submission oriented no-gi grappling competition. There will be two single elimination 8 man tournaments. One will be a 160 and under division, and the other will be a 161-200 division. There will also be 2 superfights. The only ways to obtain victory will be by submission or by obtaining 12 or more points with a 3 point lead. 1st place winners receive $1000 and 2nd and 3rd place fighters receive some great stuff from NHB GEAR! JIU JITSU GEAR at ADCC 2005

Three of our top fighters represented at ADCC 2005 against the top fighters in the world. Xande Ribeiro came in 3rd place in his weight class and 4th in the Absolute. Rick Macauley fought a war against John Olav Eneimo almost catch him several times with footlocks. Justin Garcia had a tough first round draw against the division and Absolute champ, Roger Gracie. Chim Chim opened the fight with a HUGE slam that shook the arena. Thanks to all three fighters for putting it on the line!

Jiu Jitsu Gear BJJ Championships

Jiu Jitsu Gear and the Yamasaki Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy are have a BIG tournament. $3,500 for the winners of the Black Belt Absolute divisions, $1,000 for Brown belts, $500 for Purples, and $300 for Blues! International BJJ rules and divisions for Men, Women, Kids, Teens, Masters, and Seniors. Already some World Champions have registered for the Absolute. Pre-registration is only $50 and ends March 30.
